Front-End Developer

Front-End Developer: Responsible for designing and building features for multiple websites across several key clients.  Must be proficient with both PHP and CSS.

Tasks:

• Design and build functionality and features into our key sites
• Gather requirements and build tools for staff to update and manage our sites
• Provide consulting services to our clients and staff
• Track and analyze new technologies and tools for our clients and staff

Professional requirements:

• Five years+ experience using PHP 5 and OOD
• Solid track record supporting a large team and complicated applications
• Well-versed in MVC
• Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL/MS SQL)
• Familiarity with LAMP stack
• Experience with Scrum/Agile Development
• Experience with open source CMS
• Experience building websites from the ground up

Formal requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology
