Last week at PubCon in Vegas Webpronews interview the SEO-guru and author of SEO Book, Aaron Wall. Accodording to Aaron bigger brands can get away with more agressive link building strategies such as buying links. But he also share a few tips on getting those hard earned links without having to pay for them:

  • Build Testimonials from famous companies
  • Get a booth at a conference, start networking and let your business card work for you
  • Supporting a charity event will almost certainly give you some of that extra good tasting link juice

I think it´s especially interesting that a well respected SEO community member like Aaron Wall says taht big sites are ok with buying links when Matt Cutts at Google just last month said that they are indeed busting black hat, Fortune 500 sites on a regular basis.
